Installing & Commissioning

We supply, commission, and test Diesel Generators from 10 to 3300 kVA. Our full stations include synchronizing systems and load management. We also install complete fuel tank systems. Additionally, we provide soundproof rooms with optimal exhaust piping using Silicate.. Epoxy painting on the iron pipes using the matching colors of the building enhances its aesthetic value.

We ensure that our certified technicians professionally install, service, and repair every generator. Our team follows strict standard operating procedures and applies their extensive expertise to every project.
All diesel generator sets share basic requirements. However, each brand and model requires a unique installation approach. Our NASR GENERATORS service team handles every aspect of the installation process:

Choosing the perfect location

While we determine a suitable location for your generator set there are many aspects we take into consideration. We consider several factors when choosing a generator location. These include access, space for maintenance, and noise levels. In addition, our team evaluates ventilation, exhaust and fuel piping, humidity, and temperature. Carefully selecting locations with controlled temperature conditions and proper noise isolation helps improve operational efficiency. For optimal performance, a tail water gallery location is often recommended for generator installations.

Level of ground

We install the generator on a stable, level surface. The surface is non-combustible and non-conducting. We also position it slightly above ground level to prevent contact with rising water.”

Electrical connections (wiring)

Wiring of the transfer switch, 120,240V circuit breaker:

To connect a standby generator to your existing electrical system, you’ll need a separate device called an Automatic Transfer Switch. The transfer switch is an essential safety system that prevents your generator from feeding electricity back to the local power grid.

Do not attempt to install a transfer switch yourself. Installation of transfer switches always requires a professional electrician. The model of transfer switch will depend mainly on the size of your generator. For high-priority locations like hospitals, we recommend investing in high-end transfer switches because we believe they are worth the extra cost.

In addition to the generator and transfer switch, you may want to invest on a dedicated electrical sub-panel, as well. We ensure that only your essential equipment is connected to the sub-panel, which we link directly to the generator. That way, when power fails, your critical devices will get the emergency power without the risk of overworking your generator or turning off or unplugging other equipment.

Connecting the fuel tank

We take extreme when designing and installing the fuel system. We minimize fuel line connections as much as possible and always position them away from hot engine or exhaust components for safety. The fuel tanks should be in a level with or below the set to prevent siphoning in the event of a line failure. If the generator is positioned higher than the fuel tank, we may need to install an auxiliary fuel pump to ensure proper fuel flow.

Testing the generator

We are self sufficient to test all our generators supplied with the best capability.  I.e. we have Resistive / Reactive Load Banks facility.
NASR GENERATORS is making the commissioning and installation of all Gen-set sizes with the utmost care in detail, using the well trained technical teams and according to high level standard. Also by using the modern instruments, we shorten the time of installation and thereby achieving high productivity.
We also undertake turn-key projects by providing all the necessary material and accessories needed to finish that particular project. For spare parts and replacements, visit our Spare Parts page.
